Lawrence County E911 will be holding a regular board meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 5pm.  The meeting will be held at E911 Dispatch, located at 101 Rucker Street in Bridgeport.

The Building and Grounds Committee of the Lawrence County Board will be holding a special meeting on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 5:00pm to be held in the county board meeting room at the Lawrence County Courthouse.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss matters related to Lawrence County Animal Control. 

The State Board of Elections has published a notice so that the public can be aware that an election is scheduled (March 17, 2026) and what offices are slated to be contested. Any interested persons who might be seeking election should review the information so they can begin the process of circulating nominating petitions for the appropriate offices.
