The County of Lawrence and Toolhouse Road Solar, LLC will be holding a public hearing on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 5:00pm in the gymnasium at Bridgeport Grade School, 1300 N. Main Street in Bridgeport.  The purpose of the hearing is to inform the public and allow for questions and comments regarding a planned solar energy project for the installation of ground mounted solar panels on land located in Bridgeport Township in the County of Lawrence.  

The Building and Grounds Committee of the Lawrence County Board is pursuing a project for tuckpointing the brick exterior of the Lawrence County Courthouse. Bid specification packets are available for anyone interested in submitting a bid. Packets will be made available for pickup at the Office of the Lawrence County Clerk, Lawrence County Courthouse, 1100 State Street, Lawrenceville, IL 62439. Please contact County Clerk Will C. Gibson at (618) 943-2346 ext. #4 with any questions. The deadline to submit a bid will be at 4pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
